Candicure-1 Vaginal Ovule

Composition:

Each ovule contains:

Isoconazole nitrate      600 mg

Pharmacological action :

Candicure1 is effective both against dermatophytes, yeasts, yeast-like fungi and moulds and against gram-positive bacteria

Indications:

Fungal infections of the vagina including mixed infections with gram-positive bacteria

Dosage & administration:

The ovule must be inserted deep into the vagina. This is best done in the lying position in the evening before going to sleep using the enclosed applicator. During pregnancy, the applicator is not to be used. The treatment is also not to be carried out during menstruation.

Instructions to patients:

For treatment of the external genital region or for simultaneous prophylactic treatment of the partner it is recommended to use an appropriate anti-fungal cream.During treatment and in the following week vaginal douching should be avoided. To avoid renewed infection, personal linen (face cloth, towels, and underwear – preferably of cotton) should be changed daily and boiled.The ovule must be inserted deep into the vagina.
